I’ve settled on 4 final compositions for the final paintings. I’m pretty sure at this point that I will omit the figures. I’ve been wanting to strengthen my backgrounds and alter them in a way that’s reminiscent of romantic landscapes, so this will be a good first step in that direction. I’m starting to get the hang of charcoal after working in graphite for so long.
