Small Works

I’m going to show some small paintings at Artist’s House Gallery in Philadelphia during December, so I thought I would post images of two preliminary drawings.
I’m still working some issues out like whether or not to add figures since that was my original concept. However, I’m concerned they would be overwhelmed by the objects and feel forced. Plus I still have to find models and decide poses. Decisions, decisions.
Both are charcoal and chalk on toned 10″ x 12″ paper. My goal is to have 5-6 finished pieces.
